Responsive Design

Your exported site automatically adapts to different screen sizes.

💻 How It Works

When you design on the canvas, you use absolute positioning for precise placement. When exported, the layout intelligently converts to a responsive flow layout:

💻
Desktop (900px+)

Elements maintain their relative positions. Rows of elements stay side by side.

📚
Tablet (480-900px)

Content flows naturally. Text sizes adjust. Rows may wrap.

📱
Mobile (<480px)

All elements stack vertically. Full-width buttons. Optimal touch targets.

🎨 Flow Width Setting

Control how wide each block appears in responsive mode using the Flow Width setting (10-100%). For example:

💡

Use the Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile buttons above the canvas to preview how your design will look on different devices.

💡

Tips & Tricks

🌟
Start with a Template

Instead of starting from scratch, choose a template that matches your needs, then customize colors, text, and images.

🎨
Use Theme Presets First

Apply a theme preset to set your color scheme, then fine-tune individual colors in Page Settings.

🖼
Embed Images Before Saving

Click "Embed All Images" in the Assets section to convert external image URLs to embedded data. This ensures images work even if the original URLs change.

Use Grid Snapping

Enable "Snap to Grid" for precise alignment. Elements will snap to the grid as you drag them.

🗐
Duplicate for Consistency

Instead of creating similar blocks from scratch, select one and press Ctrl+D to duplicate it, then edit the copy.

🔎
Check SEO Score

Always check the SEO score in the right panel before publishing. A green score means better search engine visibility.

👁
Preview Often

Use the Preview button frequently to see how your site looks in a real browser, especially before publishing.

🔒
Test FTP Before Upload

Always click "Test Connection" before uploading to verify your FTP credentials are correct.

🔧

Troubleshooting

Solutions to common issues:

🔒
"License Required" Error

Problem: Can't save, publish, or upload - shows license required message.

Solution:

  • Open the License section in the left panel
  • Enter your license key exactly as shown in your purchase email
  • Click "Activate License"
  • Make sure there are no extra spaces before/after the key
🖼
Images Not Showing in Export

Problem: Images appear broken after exporting/publishing.

Solution:

  • Before saving/exporting, click "Embed All Images" in the Assets section
  • This converts external URLs to embedded data that travels with your project
  • For uploaded images, make sure to use the Upload button, not just paste URLs
FTP Connection Failed

Problem: Can't connect to FTP server or upload fails.

Solution:

  • Double-check your FTP host, username, and password with your hosting provider
  • Try port 21 for regular FTP, or 990 for FTPS
  • Enable "Use FTPS" if your host requires secure connections
  • Make sure the Remote Path exists (e.g., /public_html or /www)
  • Check if your firewall is blocking the connection
📱
Layout Looks Different on Mobile

Problem: Elements don't align the same way on mobile devices.

Solution:

  • This is expected! Mobile devices stack elements vertically for readability
  • Use the Mobile preview button to see how your site will look
  • Elements on the same row in the editor will stay together on desktop/tablet
  • Adjust "Flow Width" settings to control responsive behavior
📷
Stock Image Search Not Working

Problem: No results when searching for images.

Solution:

  • Without an API key, only 80+ pre-defined categories work
  • Try common terms: "business", "nature", "food", "technology", "people"
  • For unlimited searches, get a free Pexels API key at pexels.com/api
  • Check your internet connection
🗑
Lost My Work / Project Disappeared

Problem: Work is missing after closing the app.

Solution:

  • Tiggy auto-saves to browser storage, so work often recovers automatically
  • If you saved a .json file, use "Open Project" to load it
  • Check your Downloads folder for any saved project files
  • Best practice: Always click "Save Project" before closing!
🛠
App Won't Start / Crashes

Problem: Application won't open or crashes on startup.

Solution:

  • Try running as Administrator (right-click > Run as administrator)
  • Restart your computer and try again
  • Temporarily disable antivirus and try launching
  • Reinstall the application from the original setup file
  • Make sure you have Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
📬
Contact Form Not Working

Problem: Form submissions not being received.

Solution:

  • For Formspree: Make sure you've verified your email at formspree.io
  • For Netlify: Forms only work when hosted on Netlify
  • Check that the Form Action URL is correct
  • Test by submitting a test message to yourself
